ADRINKA SYMBOLS

We are reintroducing classic Adinkra symbols as chic heirloom to be worn in a modern way.  Adinkra symbols are traditional, abstract designs that were created by the Ashanti of Ghana and the Akan people of Cote d' lvoire between the 15th and19th centuries. Adinkra symbols are vibrant, graphic vernacular expressing concepts such as protection, unity, hope, progress, love, beauty, and tolerance. Adinkra symbols were adopted by the diaspora and today they are used and value all over the world.
